Artist bio

Artist and educator Jasmin Bhanji grew up in North London, attending a large comprehensive school before studying for her degree at Brighton University. She has since gained a PGCE and a Masters from UCL in Art Education. She works with children and adults from Nursery to 90 years old, exploring opportunities for learning in contemporary art making and exhibitions. Jasmin has worked with many institutions and schools including University of the Arts, Morley College, Whitechapel Gallery, Cubitt Artists and Bow Arts.

The 11 x 11 Resource for Educators explores responses to these questions through a set of six activities, prompts and inspiration devised by artists who facilitated some of the workshops. These encompass creative writing, collaborative practice, play, sketchbook practice, visual literacy and critical thinking.
