Asha Vaidyanath is an interdisciplinary artist working across hand weaving, sound, photography, printmaking, and language. Her practice engages material systems as sites of constraint in which freedom is negotiated rather than assumed.
Working with processes that impose limits – the fixed structure of the loom, the frame of the camera, and the registration of print – she explores how pattern and meaning emerge through repetition and tension. Her work focuses on moments where repetition reveals how systems remain open and permeable.
