Studio Artists Shivangi Ladha www.shivangiladha.com | @shivangiladhastudio Shivangi Ladha is a printmaker whose self-referential practice explores social, political, and ecological spaces through the human body’s interior and exterior, using drawing, print, and layering to transform personal experience into shared narratives. She received an MA in Print from the Royal College of Art (2016). She is a recipient of the Global Talent Award (Arts Council England), South Asia Emerging Artist Award (The Arts Family, London), New Prints Artist Development Award (Print Center New York, USA), Anthony Dawson Young Printmaker Award (Royal Society of Painters–Printmakers RE), Jerwood Drawing Prize (UK), and a Residency Award at SNAP Canada, and was nominated for the Queen Sonja Print Award, Sweden. Her work is held in the British Museum; V&A Museum; East London Printmakers, UK; Mead Museum; RISD Museum; WSW Workshop, USA; and Anant Art Gallery, Reliance Foundation, India. She has exhibited internationally at spaces such as STPI Singapore, India Art Fair, and the Royal Academy, and has been featured by BenUri Museum Research Unit (London), Fukt Magazine (Germany), Art in Print Journal (USA), Printmaking Today (UK), and India Art Review Platform.
