Visiting CUBITT during Covid-19

This page outlines the safety measures to protect you from coronavirus infection that you will see when you visit us.  Like other cultural organisations across the UK, we are taking a cautious approach to easing restrictions. Until more of the adult population has had the opportunity to take up full vaccination, protections such as social distancing and the requirement to wear a face covering will remain in place.  Please read through this page so you know what to expect when you visit Cubitt. And remember, stay at home if you’re feeling unwell with coronavirus symptoms, or have been in contact with someone who has coronavirus, and make sure to follow NHS coronavirus guidelines.

Thank you for keeping everyone safe.

  • Entry remains free but we are limiting our capacity, so please be prepared to queue if the exhibition is busy
  • All visitors aged 16 or over will be encouraged to check-in using the NHS COVID-19 app
  • Please observe social distancing, leaving 2 metres between yourself and other groups of visitors and staff
  • We are asking all visitors to wear a face mask in all areas (if you are exempt from wearing a mask, please let our team know – you will be welcome to visit without)
  • Staff will be wearing face masks
  • Please wash your hands frequently - there will be automatic hand sanitiser points at the entrances and throughout the building
  • There will be increased cleaning throughout the building, including door handles, handrails and other areas of the building
  • Please pay with contactless/card wherever possible

We are not offering timed slots at the moment, but we will keep this under constant review.
